When I tell someone that I’m going to Japan they all go “Why Japan?!”.

I’ve been watching anime for several years now, and then you’re also wonder what the hell anime is… Anime is basicly japanese cartoons, but unlike “our” cartoons they aren’t only made for children. Anime usually targets people between 10 and 30 years, atleast the ones that I watch.

So I always thought it would be cool to actually be able to speak japanese myself. So I thought I’d try to study it once I went to college or so.

And I was also very fasinated with Japan, they are living their life on the other side of the globe… and they sure have their own way of doing things. They also try to keep in touch with their roots.

So when I combined these two ideas together I got “It would be so awesome to go to Japan and learn japanese”, I would be killing two birds with one stone. But that would be expensive and very troublesome so I gave up on it.

But even though I gave up on it, it still lingered on in the back of head. So it grew and grew… and one day I thought that I would atleast check it out on the net… and BANG, I was caught. Now I just HAD to go…

And here I am…

The trip is from the 1st of July to the 10th of August.
